THE MIND – APPRECIATION FOR THE CLOSEST ALLY

The End

The tasks, goals and things to do…does not end.

Once you seemingly achieve something or accomplish a goal – oftentimes it is not perfect. There is some slight problem or inconsistency that becomes the next task.

The satisfaction and contentment one feels is short lived as now all the focus is put on this slight problem.

That is dukkha – discontentment.

It is the wheel of samsara – ever turning – there is no end in sight if one continues as one always has.

There is an end though. Letting go.

Let go of the wanting and craving arising about the self – striving to achieve, striving for perfection and striving for material things.

Exercise restraint.

One does not need to comment or even think. Whatever it is it is not you. Not me, not mine and not a self.

Nothing to do with me.

Relax, calm down, breathe and let go. That is a short period of ending.
